DigitalHealthEurope catalogue of digital solutions supporting the digital transformation of health and care

DigitalHealthEurope (DHE) maintains a catalogue of digital solutions that support the fulfilment of key policy priorities for the digital transformation of health and care:

  • citizens’ secure access to and sharing of health data across borders
  • better data to advance research, disease prevention and personalised health and care
  • digital tools for citizen empowerment and person-centred care

The catalogue contains mature solutions which are the result of EU-funded projects and initiatives that address challenges related to the policy priorities. The solutions have high potential for scaling up and replicability across Europe. DHE is developing a variety of  support mechanisms such solutions can benefit from – funding advice, twinnings, capacity building.

You can browse the database of 65 solutions by using a range of different selection criteria. These include: policy priorities, availability on the market, key words, geographical scope and type of stakeholder involved.

Background

The DHE team screened more than 1,000 projects from different sources, that had mostly received a variety of forms of EU funding in the past: ICT for Health, Wellbeing & Ageing; Horizon 2020; 7th Framework Programme; Active Assisted Living Programme; innovative practices from the European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Ageing, and MAFEIP use cases.

The 65 selected practices were catalogued according to their degree of alignment to Europe’s current three key digital policy priorities and their suitability for scaling up (relevance, maturity, added value and transferability).
