On 5th and 6th October 2020, the DigitalHealthEurope consortium organised a workshop dedicated to the validation of the DHE Roadmap on patient empowerment and digital health uptake. As presented during the workshop, the Roadmap elements will constitute the building blocks of the upcoming Digital Health Europe White Paper on boosting active cooperation between patients and health and care providers.
During the workshop “Digital Health for a Patient-Centered Europe” on 3rd March 2021, DigitalHealthEurope will discuss and interact with selected panellists and the event audience to validate and endorse the key elements of the White Paper, in order to reinforce recommendations, identify potential gaps and ensure the inclusion of perspectives from different stakeholders. Following a presentation of the core elements of the White Paper, the virtual event will feature a two-part moderated roundtable where panellists and participants will be able to come together and confer on a series of questions and key points that will help finetune the document. Workshop participants will also receive a summary of the White Paper before the event to facilitate an informed discussion.
The event will be attended by patient leaders, healthcare professionals, policy makers, researchers, industry representatives, DigitalHealthEurope project partners, and other participants which were present at the 5th-6th October 2020 workshop.
