The DHE Second Call for Twinnings: winning tenders revealed

The DigitalHealthEurope Second Call for Twinnings was open between 26 February and 22 May 2020. The evaluation phase is now complete, and 11 tenders have received notifications of award.

The call was addressed to regional governmental bodies and health care providers, as well as organisations legally affiliated with them. Interested parties had the opportunity to partner up as adopters and originators of innovative solutions and apply for funding. Based on the complexity of envisioned twinning activities, submissions were divided into the following types:

  • Full adoption (5 winning tenders)
  • Partial adoption (4 winning tenders)
  • Knowledge exchange and training (2 winning tenders)

From the 11 winning tenders, 5 involve more than one adopter. The majority of tenders are focused on digital tools for citizen empowerment and person-centred care. In total, 35 organisations from 16 countries are involved in the adoption and transfer of innovative solutions between European regions.

Congratulations to the winners!
