Description

Tele rehabilitation for people with respiratory conditions in Wales:

  • Use video conferencing to deliver remote Pulmonary Rehabilitation across the health board Utilise telemedicine and a hub and spoke model initially for pulmonary rehabilitation. Start small - plan big
  • Use current staff (Band 4 technicians, Band 7 OT and Physiotherapist and Band 3 Exercise technician) with minimal increased work load
  • Use (unused) space in community hospitals, or large GP practices sites where suitable areas for exercise are available
 
Target group Primary, community and secondary care staff across a range of professionals including doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, third sector, local leisure sports trainers and patients
